The Early-Action Deadline is almost here COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY - SIPA Admissions Blog You are someone who always wants to be the first to know things. You love deadlines. You like planning ahead. And you cannot wait to have a game plan for next year. Some people would classify this mindset as a Type A personality. But if you ask me, it just means youre a go-getter. Nothing is going to stop you from leading the pack and accomplishing your goals on your terms, and no one elses. If this sounds like you, then you should really submit your  admission  application to SIPA by the early-action deadline.  Note that the Early-Action Deadline is almost here: November 2, 2015 at 11:59 p.m.  Applicants who submit their application by then have the benefit of knowing their non-binding admission decision by early January 2016.  They are also eligible for SIPAs merit-based fellowships (the final fellowship deadline is January 5, 2016).
